Lee Cook makes it a hat - trick
Congratulations to Lee Cook who successfully retained the Alton Mens Singles
Cup in a thrilling match against Ed Peace.
This win means that Lee has been singles champion for three years running - a
real achievement for someone who only completed his A levels in
June.
The match was extremely close and hard fought, with Ed pushing Lee every step
of the way. The tie break at the end of the first set probably proved
the pivotal point. It was fantastic to see tennis of such high quality
and competitiveness in our club.
